The United States Angling Confederation and Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors' Bureau will host the 2023 FIPSed Kayak Fishing World Championship in Cookeville, Tennessee on Center Hill Lake. Center Hill Lake is the largest of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lakes in Tennessee, covering 18,200 acres. It’s also one of the most popular recreation destinations in Middle Tennessee—with good reason. Hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and many other water sports are enjoyed on Center Hill’s beautiful water.
The southern charm of Cookeville, TN and the surrounding area will welcome all international attendees and provide many cherished memories. This world championship is sanctioned by FIPSed International Federation of Fish Sports Freshwater.

A one day program designed to expose youth and their families to various aspects of fishing.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore three separate areas to learn about Basic Fishing Skills, Aquatic Ecosystems, and Water/Boating Safety.

The USA Kayak Team competes in the Kayak World Championships and Pan American Kayak Championships. The US Kayak Team is made up of men and women kayak anglers chosen from
pro tour winners, previous championship winners, and top placing anglers from the US Kayak Open.
The US Kayak Open will field the travel team for the next Pan American Kayak Fishing Championship.
